Identity Before Relationship

Many people enter relationships looking for clarity, validation, or a sense of completion.

But a relationship was never meant to give you your identity.

It reveals what’s already there.

When identity isn’t settled, relationships can become confusing. You may start accepting things that don’t reflect your worth, or building something on a foundation that isn’t strong enough to last.

Scripture reminds us that our identity is found in Christ first—not in people, not in outcomes.

When you truly know who you are, you don’t enter relationships trying to be completed. You enter whole.

You’re no longer searching—you’re choosing.

And that changes everything.
